The plant’s roots are misted with a solution of nutrients and water, giving growers the ability to regulate nutritional input and ensure that plants receive the optimal amount of resources required for healthy, explosive growth. Additionally, the absence of media reduces the requirement of conditioners, pesticides, herbicides, and other chemicals. Without media to cause nutrient build up at the root ball, flushing operations result in zero residual nutrients.
